Junior Technician

Job description

• Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., scraping, sanding, patching holes, caulking cracks).
• Apply primers, sealers, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to achieve desired color and consistency.
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect adjacent areas.
• Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity and smoothness; perform touch-ups as necessary.
• Clean tools and equipment after use and maintain a tidy work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain inventory of paint supplies and request materials as needed.
• Collaborate with other construction or renovation team members when necessary.
