Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :

  • Develop CNC programming for manufacturing processes.
  • Require hands-on CNC practical knowledge and experience.
  • Tooling Design Capability : Ability to design tooling components is a plus.
  • Plastic Tooling Design : Experience in plastic tooling design is an advantage.
  • CAD Modelling : Proficiency in creating detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software (plus point).

Project Planning :

  • Estimate project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other departments to ensure designs are feasible and efficient.

    • Quality Assurance :

  • Perform design rule checks and validate designs.
  • Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or enhance production quality.

    • Documentation :

  • Maintain detailed records of all design drafts and revisions.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for design projects, ensuring all files and records are accurately maintained.

    • Skills and Qualifications :

    Technical Proficiency :

  • Expertise in CAM software and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an added advantage.

    • Analytical Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyze specifications, sketches, and related data effectively.

    • Collaboration :

  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineers from various disciplines.

    • Attention to Detail :

  • High level of precision and accuracy in CNC programming.
  • Capability to identify and correct issues during the manufacturing stage.

    • Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

    Pay : From RM3,000.00 per month

    Ability to commute / relocate :

  • Kulim (Kulim, 09000) : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

    • Experience :

  • CNC Programmer : 2 years (Required)
