Job Description

Test Equipment Technician performs software, electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in Test Process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible to sustain test equipment with minimal downtime.
• Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
• Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
• Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
• Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
• Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for improving and sustaining the equipment capability and meet the KPI (Availability, OEE and Yield).
• Assist engineer during DOE and improvement project.
