Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

The Platform Analytics & Insights Specialist owns the analytics framework for our enterprise digital channels. The core mission of this role is to leverage Google Analytics and Looker Studio to deliver clear, actionable insights that directly support business objectives. This individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate their needs into technical measurement solutions, ensure pristine data integrity, and build insightful dashboards and reports that tell a story and guide strategic decisions.

What are you accountable for?

Analytics Implementation & Tracking

  • Translate business questions into data requirements
  • Develop a comprehensive analytics strategy and implementation plan for our enterprise digital channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track user interactions, conversions and other critical metrics
  • Implement advanced analytics tools and technologies to capture, process and analyze platform data
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data collection across all digital touchpoints
  • Continuous Improvements : Proactively identify data gaps and analytics needs, proposing solutions to enhance tracking and reporting capabilities
  • Reporting & Dashboards

  • Design and develop intuitive, interactive reporting dashboards to monitor the performance of our enterprise digital platforms (not limited to Self-Serve Portal, Digital Buying Platform, AI Chatbot, Enterprise Mobile App)
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources to provide a unified view of platform KPIs, user journeys and trends
  • Generate timely and insightful performance reports for management, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations
  • Continuously optimize the dashboard design and reporting structure based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs
  • Data-Driven Insights And Optimization

  • Analyse platform data to uncover hidden patterns, identify pain points and discover opportunities for improvements
  • Translate complex data into clear, visually engaging insights that drive informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test hypotheses for platform optimization
  • Measure the impact of optimization efforts and refine strategies based on data driven outcomes
  • Stakeholder Engagement And Optimization

  • Proactively communicate platform performance and key insights to key stakeholders, including management, product and technology teams
  • Serve as subject matter expert, providing guidance and recommendations to drive strategic initiatives and foster a data-driven culture
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment on analytics requirements, data governance and reporting needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging analytics technologies to continuously enhance our capabilities
  • What do you need to have for the role?

    Min 5 years of experience in a platform analytics, business systems analysis, or a similar role involving Google Analytics.

  • Google Analytics (Advanced)
  • Data Visualisation & Dashboarding (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) (Experienced)
  • Requirements Gathering & Technical Translation (Experienced)
  • Stakeholder Management (Intermediate)
  • Data Integrity & Validation (Intermediate)
  • Agile Project Management (Beginner)
  • Light Scripting (e.g., JavaScript for GTM) (Beginner)
  • Certifications (if Required)

  • Google Analytics Certification (Preferred)
  • Competencies (Communication and Working Relationships)

  • Accountability : Intermediate : Uses logic and facts to influence decisions.
  • Financial Impact : Low : Financial decisions have minor impact on overall financial outcomes.

  • Formal Education : Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
