Responsibilities
Build relationships : Cultivate and maintain strong connections with existing customers while identifying and engaging potential new clients.
Drive sales growth : Work towards achieving monthly and annual sales targets, ensuring sustainable growth for the company.
Market analysis : Stay informed about industry trends and identify new growth areas to keep the company competitive.
Strategic planning : Initiate and coordinate action plans to penetrate new markets, expanding the company\'s reach.
Customer service : Provide excellent service to current and new customers, building lasting business relationships.
Sales strategy execution : Implement effective sales strategies to sell & promote the company\'s products and increase market share.
Adaptability : Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
Educational background : Candidates with a Bachelor\'s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Agronomy or equivalent. This educational foundation will provide you with the necessary knowledge to excel in the role.
Computer skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and PowerPoint, enabling you to create impactful presentations and manage data effectively.
Language proficiency : Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Chinese customers and suppliers.
Sales experience : Ideally, candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in fertilizers and agrochemical products sales. However, candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply if they demonstrate strong potential and enthusiasm for the role.
Network : Strong grower network preferred; and good understanding of Malaysia’s palm oil plantation industry.
Willing to Travel : Possess own vehicle and willing to travel.
