The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead Ajinoriki (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. through its next phase of growth and transformation. As the company expands from its core MSG manufacturing into the seasoning and food ingredient segment, the CEO will be responsible for driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and sustainable profitability while preserving the company’s legacy and values established by its founder.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and implement a 5–10 year business strategy aligned with the company’s expansion into new product lines and markets.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities , partnerships, and export potentials.
- Oversee corporate planning, R&D investment , and product diversification strategies .
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency across all departments.
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment between production, quality, supply chain, finance, and HR .Implement cost control measures and optimize operational performance to meet profitability targets.Ensure smooth coordination between production departments and support functions.Strengthen manufacturing efficiency, yield, and energy optimization initiatives.Financial & Business Performance
Lead annual business planning and budgeting processes.Set revenue, cost, and profit targets in line with Board expectations.Ensure effective use of resources, working capital, and financial sustainability.Provide clear, data-driven reporting and performance insights to the Board.Inspire and lead a team of department managers and senior leaders towards shared goals.Build a performance-driven culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and innovation.Mentor and develop next-generation leaders within the company.Ensure HR strategies align with long-term business growth and organizational development.Corporate Governance & Stakeholder Relations
Uphold compliance with Malaysian regulations (DOE, DOSH, MOH, HALAL, etc.) and ethical business practices.Represent the company in negotiations, partnerships, and industry associations.Foster strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, government bodies, and the community.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 15 years of working experience , with at least 8 years in senior management (preferably in manufacturing or FMCG ).Proven track record in business expansion, operational optimization , and profit growth .Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in food manufacturing or industrial production is highly advantageous.Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia ; Mandarin is an added advantage.Visionary thinker with strong strategic planning capability.Data-driven and analytical decision maker.Strong communicator with the ability to influence and inspire.Financially savvy with solid understanding of P&L, CAPEX / OPEX control, and ROI .High integrity, resilience, and results orientation.Passionate about innovation, sustainability, and people development.Performance Indicators (KPIs)
