We're Hiring : Oracle / Sun Exadata & Server Engineer

Location : Glenmarie, Shah Alam

Client : Basis Bay

Employment Type :

Permanent with Censoft

Budget :

RM 13,000 – RM 14,000 (max)

Open to All Nationalities (Malaysia & Overseas)

with deep expertise in hardware and OS troubleshooting? Join us to work on cutting-edge Oracle Exadata technology in mission-critical enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

Install, configure & maintain Oracle / Sun Exadata appliances and Sun servers (X4, X7, T7 series).
Perform hardware diagnostics, upgrades & replacements.
Administer Oracle Linux / Solaris environments.
Troubleshoot OS-level issues (CPU / memory, kernel panics, patching).
Monitor, maintain, and optimize system performance.
Drive incident resolution, RCA, and preventive actions.
Document SOPs, support processes & capacity planning.

What We're Looking For

5+ years in Oracle / Sun server administration & support.

Strong hands-on experience with

Oracle Exadata

systems.

Solid knowledge of Oracle Linux & Solaris.

Skilled in hardware troubleshooting & vendor coordination.

Familiarity with storage, networking & clustering.

Strong problem-solving & communication skills.

Level : L2.5 / Level 3 expert

Preferred :

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Exadata certification.

Experience in financial / banking environments with strict SLAs.

Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, OEM, Dynatrace).

Scripting (Shell, Perl, Python).
