Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge on AutoCount accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and financial management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to manage time effectively and stay organized to meet deadlines and complete tasks.
  • Able to stay connected and engage with colleagues through virtual meetings, chats, and social events to maintain a sense of community.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to be aggressive and committed to achieving goals.
  • A positive working attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your accounting skills and contribute directly to our company's success. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Comprehensive Account Management : Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (G / L) activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Accounting System Proficiency : Utilize and manage two accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing of financial transactions.
  • Reconciliation and Analysis : Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, perform detailed monthly financial analysis, manage daily check issuance, and oversee daily collections to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Timely Reporting : Prepare and submit management reports according to established deadlines, providing insightful financial data to support decision-making.
  • Ageing Report Management : Maintain and update monthly ageing reports to track outstanding receivables and manage credit risk effectively.
  • Collaborative Support : Assist senior team members with various accounting tasks and projects as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ad-Hoc Assignments : Undertake and complete ad-hoc assignments as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Operational Oversight : Manage the day-to-day operations of accounting records and filing systems, ensuring organized and accessible financial documentation.
