Senior Associate, Sustainability

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Group Sustainability team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will support the execution of the Group's Sustainability and Climate Strategy, with a strong focus on ESG and climate-related data analysis. You will play a critical role in monitoring Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, evaluating sectoral decarbonization pathways, setting sustainability performance targets, and driving ESG data-informed decision-making across the Group. This position also contributes to sustainable finance assessments, ESG risk analysis, and regulatory and voluntary external disclosures.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the implementation of the Group's Sustainability and Climate Strategy, focusing on ESG data and climate-related initiatives
• Monitor and analyze Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions to track performance and compliance with internal targets and external frameworks
• Evaluate sector-specific decarbonization pathways and assist in the development of related performance goals
• Enable data-driven ESG integration by ensuring data quality, consistency, and usability across business functions
• Contribute to sustainable finance assessments and ESG risk evaluations
• Support the preparation of climate and sustainability disclosures, ensuring alignment with regulatory and voluntary standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed sustainability and climate considerations into business and operational strategies
