The Opportunity : Monks is a new type of media consultancy that partners with global brands and agencies seeking transformative marketing results in a time of disruption and opportunity. The Role : We’re seeking an Accountant to join the Corporate team. This hands-on role will be a key part of the regional Finance team and offers a range of responsibilities including managing day-to-day financial operations, month-end accounting and compliance. This is a full-time position in a collaborative, supportive and results-driven team that thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and Reporting
• Maintain the General Ledger Accounts
• Manage Fixed Asset / Prepayment / Expense Accrual schedules
• Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis
• Manage month end closing and statutory financial reporting accurately to meet reporting deadlines
• Review and analysis of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts
• Preparation and lodgement of payroll tax and BAS / IAS / GST / VAT
• Assist with consolidating quarter / half year / year end accounts and prepare papers for the S4 group
• Assist with financial analysis
