Job descriptionQualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or related technical degree. Preferable 1 year engineering related experience, with exposure to process improvement functions in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge in jig and equipment design and calibration. Strong technical skills and be an excellent analytical thinker. Skilled in computer technology. Be effectively bilingual in English and Malay with superior communication. Ability to communicate in Japanese is an added advantage.
Job Target :
Responsible for maintain, manage, improve and develop jig and equipment with new technologies added to cope with manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve quality and productivity.
Job Descriptions :
- Plan and coordinate manufacturing processes, as well as evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to maximize.
- Gathers data quantifying process efficiency, analyses and recommends process improvements through jig & equipment.
- Conduct jig monitoring, breakdown analysis and carry-out improvement activity.
- To ensure production continuity by minimize line downtime, perform preventive maintanence, management and calibration on the jig, tools and equipment.
- Design new jig and improve current jig and equipment issues.
- Guide subordinates on technical skill improvement.
- Participate in continuous improvements activities to improve overall safety, quality, cost and delivery performance.
- Responsible to raise Purchase Requisition (PR) or Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) if assigned by superior as authorized member.
- Implement PDCA cycle in all activity done.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by superior.
