Senior Associate / Associate - Operation Technology (IT)

Job Purpose

Responsible for the overall daily support, maintenance and monitoring of IT operational systems, infrastructure, data, and other operational technology components critical to the Bus System. Ensure high system availability and deliver effective IT Services. Key Accountabilities

Responsible in conducting feasibility studies, reviews, and recommendations based on current applicable technologies. Plan, manage and recommend the efficient service delivery, programs, strategies, policies, and budget of the Information Technology towards achieving high performance level. Deliver and ensure effective support of the Applications / Hardware, Operations Systems and subsystems to ensure efficient delivery of quality work. Plan, perform and manage the maintenance activities of software applications, hardware, infrastructure and interacting data to ensure the highest system availability for daily operation efficiency and effectiveness. Manage, analyze and determine causes of anomalies or discrepancies of the systems, data and integration and provide solutions or alternative courses of actions within acceptable timelines for effective and efficient quality of work. Ensure technical / functional requirements are detailed sufficiently at the appropriate stage of the design life cycle of a new system, enhancement of initiatives. Ensure the highest system and hardware availability / uptime for daily operation efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure that IT assets are accurately recorded and tracked. To monitor, manage and ensure the assets such as software and hardware including its licenses are up to date, Support and assist all related IT activities for ISO certification particularly the ISMS Audit. This is to ensure achievement of zero NCR during internal / external audit. Assist the HOU in preparing and maintaining risk management documentation, including the risk register and asset register related to IT and OT. This involves identifying potential IT / OT risks, assessing their impact and documenting mitigation strategies. Ensure appropriate Security and Technology Standard and best practices are maintained in the systems or at the infrastructure level. Assist in Cyber Security vulnerability assessments and related activities including identifying potential vulnerabilities, make recommendations to control any risks identified and to ensure they are implemented. Ensure that customer complaints are handled appropriately and promptly by team members, Responsible for ensuring that all open incidents and requests are addressed in accordance with the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high standards of customer service and issue resolution. Maintain effective communications with relevant Divisions / Departments / Vendors / End Users to gain feedback to ensure the desired service levels are met and to further understand their requirements to improve the systems functionalities and effectiveness. Foster teamwork by providing support, technical guidance, and on-the-job training to IT team members and / or other relevant users to enhance their work performance, improve skills and boost motivation. Establish, maintain and revise system documentations such as technical, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting manuals to ensure continuous development and maintenance works. Any other duties as assigned by the Company. Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

Minimum Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information System / Networking or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of working experience IT Operation. Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem – solving abilities. Proficiency in cloud services (Azure & AWS). Server & Storage management. Databases e.g Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL). Business Intelligence and Data Analytic e.g. Tableu, Pentaho or similar. Networking technology. Familiar with Business Continutiy Planning (BCP) or Disaster Recovery.
