Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor and oversee accounting processes prepared by local accounting team (General-ledger, Sub-ledger A / P, A / R, fixed assets)
- Prepare monthly journal entries and adjustments including work-in-progress, prepayments, accruals and taxes
- Review, analyze and maintain balance sheets, track account contents and perform reconciliations
- Prepare, review and analyze the month-end Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Accounts for financial and management reporting (including project / business related analysis)
- Responsible for cash-flow management and reporting including weekly cash flow position, timely notification to Corporate Treasury for intercompany payments, involvement in the collection process and liaison with project managers for overdue invoices
- Manage and oversee the accounting process prepared by the accounting team
External / Internal Reporting
Prepare and be responsible for the year-end financial reporting package in accordance with Company Accounting Policy and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, including external audit of such financial statementsPrepare annual statutory audit materials, liaise with external auditor, respond to audit queries and finalise audited financial statementsPrepare and be responsible for all compliance required by SSMSupport local tax projects and audit, ensure accurate and timely filings, coordinating with in-house tax team or external tax consultantsPrepare and be responsible for management reporting including cost centersAssist finance manager in preparing the annual budget and perform variance analysis vs actualOthers
Support and supply other functions with financial information upon requestLead management and administration of financial accounting topics (financial accounting manual, chart of accounts)Safeguard company policies and ensure applicable work procedures are followedDrive continuous improvement processes in finance matters and strengthen internal controlsDevelop an employee-oriented culture emphasizing quality, retention, development and high performanceSupport, train and mentor interns and / or junior team members as requiredComply with health, safety and environment regulationsAdhere to ROSEN business processes, policies and proceduresInteract and participate with other ROSEN Group membersWhat you will bring
CA, CPA, or ACCA qualifiedBachelor degree in Accounting / FinancePreferably 6-7 years’ experience in Audit and Finance, with at least 2 years in a team lead roleExperience with accounting standards and legal obligations (e.g., end of month closing)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with SAP S / 4HANAStrong attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasksWell-developed verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamComfortable working in a matrix organizationAbility to develop strong working relationships within regional finance teamsWhat we offer
