Overview
Technical Trainer, APAC (Electrical / Mechanical) – regional role with high visibility that operates with a strong degree of independence, managing end-to-end training design, content creation, and program delivery.
Role focuses on developing and implementing technical training programs related to Electrical and / or Mechanical Engineering, conducting needs assessments, and evaluating learning effectiveness. This role coaches and guides engineering and operations professionals, ensuring training materials and programs are accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational standards.

Essential Job Functions
- Content Creation : Develop comprehensive technical training materials, manuals, and documentation tailored to site-specific needs for onboarding and upskilling Critical Facilities, Operations and Reliability Engineering teams.
- Training Delivery : Collaborate with site teams to deliver and facilitate effective training sessions, ensuring all staff members understand and utilise the training content.
- Documentation Development : Assist in the creation and refinement of training material, operational guidelines, and emergency procedures.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure documentation and training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and adhere to company standards and industry best practices. Perform periodic technical and quality reviews of all MOP, SOP and ERP to ensure the latest techniques and safety guidelines are utilized and compliant with government regulations.
- Documentation Review : Conduct regular reviews of written material to align with company expectations and provide feedback to improve documentation.
- Stakeholder Communication : Interface with various site teams to gather site-specific information, understand needs, and incorporate feedback into documentation and training material.
- Progress Reporting : Provide regular updates on the progress of documentation projects and training, tracking against completion targets to ensure timely delivery.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve training delivery and documentation processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.A technical background in data center facility operations, engineering (aerospace, semiconductor or other manufacturing industry) or related technical field.Experience in or understanding of critical facilities, with an operational mindset.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English , with the ability to create training content and deliver to engage effectively with diverse teams.Proficiency with technical writing, with a portfolio of previous work demonstrating strong capability.Prior experience in delivering training sessions and creating training material is desirable.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a dynamic work environment.Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes.Other Information
