An exciting opportunity awaits an accomplished Senior Marketing Manager to lead brand and trade marketing initiatives for a high-performing FMCG company. This is a confidential search for a strategic leader ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. (This role is responsible for the Singapore market, however, based in Malaysia).

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand & Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute annual brand plans across assigned categories.
  • Lead 360° marketing strategies inclusive of communication, media, trials, trade marketing, and CRM.
  • Partner closely with sales (online & offline) to deliver aligned business objectives.
  • Monitor and report marketing performance against KPIs and ROI metrics.
  • Uphold brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints.

2. Consumer, Market & Competitor Insights

  • Lead analysis of category trends, consumer behavior, and market data.
  • Identify actionable insights to optimize brand performance.
  • Drive regular competitive analysis to guide proactive strategic decisions.
  • 3. Agency & Partner Management

  • Oversee relationships with creative, media, PR, and promotional agencies.
  • Align KPIs with agency deliverables and conduct periodic performance reviews.
  • Support agency pitches and vendor selection as required.
  • 4. Budget & Performance Management

  • Govern brand P&L and marketing budget allocation.
  • Continuously optimize spend efficiency while achieving brand objectives.
  • 5. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams including sales, trade, digital, and e-commerce.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Define clear KPIs and drive process enhancements across the marketing function.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record in brand development, consumer marketing, and trade marketing.
  • Experience in local marketing for the Singapore market preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, shopper marketing, and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada).
  • Effective communicator and team leader with a collaborative mindset.
  • Skilled in data analysis, insights generation, and marketing strategy development.
  • Comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and influencing decisions at senior levels.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a passion for team development and results delivery.
