About the role

Sunshine Circuit (Penang) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented IT Engineer to join our team. In this full‑time position, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our IT infrastructure and systems at our office located in Seberang Jaya, Penang.

What you'll be doing

Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues with computer hardware, software, and network equipment.
Perform system administration tasks, such as user account management, software installations, and system backups.
Monitor and maintain the performance of our IT systems, including servers, routers, and other network devices.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Engineer or System Administrator role.

Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting.

Proficient in managing and configuring Windows and / or Linux operating systems.

Experience with enterprise‑level applications, databases, and cloud technologies.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred to communicate effectively with headquarters and suppliers.
