Your Role in VT Markets
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Marketing Assistant Manager to lead our marketing initiatives across Hong Kong market.
Based in Malaysia, this role requires a strategic thinker with deep understanding of Chinese and Hong Kong consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and market dynamics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth in these key markets for VT Markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for GCN and Hong Kong markets
- Collaborate with Global Marketing Head in Singapore to ensure strategic alignment and leverage global best practices
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape
- Create market-specific go-to-market strategies for new products and services
- Collaborate with global marketing teams to adapt international campaigns for local markets
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics
Campaign Management & Execution
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, traditional, events)Manage marketing budgets and optimize spend allocation for maximum ROIOversee content creation and localization for Chinese and Hong Kong audiencesCoordinate with creative agencies and external vendorsDevelop and maintain marketing calendars and campaign timelinesDigital Marketing & E-commerce
Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media, SEM, SEO, and programmatic advertisingManage presence on Chinese platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, etc.).Optimize marketing funnels and conversion rates across digital touchpointsCollaborate with e-commerce teams to drive online sales growthMonitor and analyze digital marketing performance metricsBrand Management & Communications
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpointsDevelop localized messaging and positioning strategiesManage public relations and media relationships in target marketsOversee crisis communication and reputation managementCreate and maintain brand guidelines for regional marketsIdentify and develop strategic partnerships with local businesses and influencersCollaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectivesWork closely with product teams to ensure market-fit and positioningCoordinate with regional teams and global marketing team for seamless executionCollaborate regularly with Global Marketing Head in Singapore for strategic initiatives and knowledge sharingManage relationships with key stakeholders and clientsWhat Makes You a Great Fit
Job Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fieldMBA or advanced degree preferredMinimum 4-6 years of marketing experience with focus on Chinese / Hong Kong marketsProven track record of successful marketing campaign managementExperience in B2B and / or B2C marketing environmentsTechnical Skills
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.)Experience with Chinese digital platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Baidu, TikTok, etc.)Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting toolsKnowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management toolsLanguage & Cultural Competency
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)Cantonese proficiency is highly preferredDeep understanding of Chinese and Hong Kong cultural nuancesKnowledge of local consumer behavior and market dynamicsExperience working in multicultural environmentsCore Competencies
