Your Role in VT Markets

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Marketing Assistant Manager to lead our marketing initiatives across Hong Kong market.

Based in Malaysia, this role requires a strategic thinker with deep understanding of Chinese and Hong Kong consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and market dynamics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth in these key markets for VT Markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for GCN and Hong Kong markets
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing Head in Singapore to ensure strategic alignment and leverage global best practices
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape
  • Create market-specific go-to-market strategies for new products and services
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to adapt international campaigns for local markets
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics

Campaign Management & Execution

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, traditional, events)
  • Manage marketing budgets and optimize spend allocation for maximum ROI
  • Oversee content creation and localization for Chinese and Hong Kong audiences
  • Coordinate with creative agencies and external vendors
  • Develop and maintain marketing calendars and campaign timelines
  • Digital Marketing & E-commerce

  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media, SEM, SEO, and programmatic advertising
  • Manage presence on Chinese platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, etc.).
  • Optimize marketing funnels and conversion rates across digital touchpoints
  • Collaborate with e-commerce teams to drive online sales growth
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics
  • Brand Management & Communications

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints
  • Develop localized messaging and positioning strategies
  • Manage public relations and media relationships in target markets
  • Oversee crisis communication and reputation management
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines for regional markets
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with local businesses and influencers
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives
  • Work closely with product teams to ensure market-fit and positioning
  • Coordinate with regional teams and global marketing team for seamless execution
  • Collaborate regularly with Global Marketing Head in Singapore for strategic initiatives and knowledge sharing
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and clients

    Job Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 4-6 years of marketing experience with focus on Chinese / Hong Kong markets
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaign management
  • Experience in B2B and / or B2C marketing environments
  • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.)
  • Experience with Chinese digital platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Baidu, TikTok, etc.)Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Language & Cultural Competency

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Cantonese proficiency is highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of Chinese and Hong Kong cultural nuances
  • Knowledge of local consumer behavior and market dynamics
  • Experience working in multicultural environments

  • Familiarity with Chinese consumer psychology and trading behavior patterns
  • Professional certifications in digital marketing or analytics
  • Understanding of forex / CFD trading products and services
