Job descriptionDevelop and implement risk management frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor and assess operational risks across banking and financial services operations. Conduct regular reviews of control processes and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure controls are effectively embedded within operations. Manage risk and control reporting to provide stakeholders with clear insights. Lead risk assessments for new projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management practices and policies. Stay updated on industry regulations and trends to adapt risk strategies accordingly.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manager, Risk & Control (GWB Ops) should have :
- A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and controls within financial services.
- Experience in banking and financial services operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
