AAbout the role

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team at ECONOMY PACKING & FREIGHT SERVICES SDN. BHD. in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time member of our sales and business development department, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth for the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through effective networking and prospecting
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our services and solutions
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed individual and team targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business prospects
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline data in the CRM system

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
  • Proven track record of successfully generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to identify and address client needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics industry, with the ability to stay up-to-date with market trends
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed
