Overview

Warehouse Supervisor, Sortation Centre - SPX Express (Butterworth, Penang), Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily Sorting Centre operations including physical operations - mainly receive, sort and outbound
  • Involved in scheduling, staffing and workflow management, monitoring of key performance metrics
  • Manage multiple stakeholders - coordinate between building owner, manpower provider, and internal operation teams
  • Ensuring the operations meet the targeted Service Level Agreement (SLA) by general management by exhibiting your problem solving and employee coaching / training skills wherever needed
  • Provide daily data reports & identify potential improvements to existing processes to reduce bottlenecks and improve the efficiency of the team

Requirements

  • Experienced in warehouse operations would be preferred
  • Strong leadership skills, promoting collaboration and teamwork across different departments / stakeholders
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is preferred. Others with transferrable skill sets are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is encouraged
  • Working pattern : 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required (up to 6 days)
  • Working location within Northern region : Butterworth, Penang
