General Information
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the Finance Department
- Ensure that the legal entity’s financial statements are prepared within stated deadlines
- Ensure compliance with credit management procedures
- Review and monitor key financial indicators to reach target
- Support forecast and budget process
- Ensure business operates within proper legal and group guidelines
Your Key Responsibilities
Accounting, Audit & Controlling
Coordinate with Shared Service Center on operational and monthly closing activitiesEnsure that financial statements for the legal entity are prepared accurately within deadlinesEnsure compliance with credit management proceduresEnsure payment from customers is received by due date for accurate cash flow planningEnsure all payment to suppliers is processed timely following established guidelinesEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws and company policiesMaintain proper documentation and filing of financial recordsCoordinate with statutory auditors for year-end closing proceduresAssist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisSupport management with financial data and analysis, highlighting major deviations and impact on overall businessTaxation
Coordinate with tax agent for corporate tax computation, GST and corporate tax return submission and tax paymentEnsure proper and timely submission of tax returns and fulfil withholding tax obligation to IRASTreasury and Miscellaneous
Monitor cash flow and credit facility utilisationHandle liquidity planning & foreign currency hedging as per group reporting timeline and requirementCoordinate with internal and external stakeholder on all banking related arrangementYour Qualifications
Degree in accounting or qualified accountant, 4-6 years experience (with some years in a distribution or trading business)Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP ERP system), Windows & Microsoft applications especially MS ExcelProven experience as an accountant or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP / IFRS) as well as Finance & TaxationStrong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skillsGood analytical and problem-solving abilitiesGood communication in EnglishAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesAs a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
