Job Description
- The Laboratory Technician is responsible for providing analytical support to external and internal customers, ensuring compliance with analytical procedures, testing, instrument maintenance, and documentation.
- Perform daily testing, laboratory support functions, and assist with special projects as needed.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and assurance for all analyses.
- Conduct offshore / onshore activities as required.
- Ensure data reliability through adherence to quality assurance protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance to laboratory personnel.
- Investigate laboratory quality incidents.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, internal SOPs, and client requirements.
- Plan maintenance and calibration schedules for laboratory instruments.
- Contribute to meeting customer service commitments and ensure compliance with QA / QC, HSE, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering from a recognized institution.2-3 years or more of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, if applicable.Experience in laboratory applications.Additional Information
