Overview

Cross Border M&A Advisory - Analyst / Senior Associate

(Malaysian applicants only) – Sadella Advisory is a boutique M&A advisory group based in Hong Kong, focused on Asia Pacific with emphasis on Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The role is based in Malaysia with a primary focus on M&A coverage in Southeast Asia, and an emphasis on deal origination and execution. Principal Responsibilities

Work closely with the Chairman and Director on origination of their network relationships. Lead both buy-side and sell-side transaction execution for the full deal cycle, including drafting definitive agreements, performing due diligence, and supporting client advisory. Build and run financial models and valuations for relevant companies. Guide junior team members in preparing presentation documents including pitch books, strategic and financial proposals, company overview and marketing materials (e.g. Teaser, CIM). Perform research, analysis and write reports on industry sectors and specific companies where applicable. Multitask between assignments and responsibilities to the team members. Manage and handle communication with clients, investors and partners of advisory companies. Requirements

Only open to Malaysians. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or related field; MBA is a plus. Minimum 2–5 years working experience in cross-border M&A transactions in Southeast Asia; sector knowledge (e.g., financial services, consumer, semiconductors) is advantageous. Audit and / or investment banking background encouraged for analyst role. Strong knowledge in cross-border M&A transactions with execution experience, including drafting definitive agreements and coordinating due diligence. Professional qualifications in finance (e.g., CFA / CPA) would be an advantage. Strong skills in financial analysis, financial modelling and valuation, market research and due diligence. Highly professional, self-motivated, able to work as an individual contributor with strong analytical, problem-solving and multitasking abilities, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
