Job description

Job Title :  Senior SAP MM Consultant

Location : Malaysia (Onsite)

Duration :  12 months renewable contract

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant for an onsite contract position in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of SAP experience, with a strong focus on SAP MM and proven expertise in S / 4HANA environments. You must have completed at least 3 full end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects and demonstrate deep functional knowledge of procurement and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Configure and implement SAP MM modules including :

Procurement (P2P)

  • Inventory Management (IM)
  • Purchasing
  • Invoice Verification
  • Material Master Data Management
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into system design and configuration
  • Perform fit-gap analysis, system configuration, testing, documentation, and end-user training
  • Support data migration, cutover activities, and go-live readiness
  • Ensure smooth integration of SAP MM with other modules such as SD, FICO, and WM
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in procurement and inventory processes
  • Provide support during hypercare and post-go-live stabilization
  • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials

Key Requirements :

  • Minimum 8 years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years in SAP MM
  • 3+ full lifecycle implementations of SAP MM, including in S / 4HANA
  • Strong functional knowledge of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes
  • Hands-on experience with purchase orders, goods receipts, stock transfers, vendor master data, and pricing procedures
  • Good understanding of taxation, account determination, and invoice processing
  • Experience integrating MM with FICO, SD, and WM modules
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must be based in Malaysia and available for onsite work

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with S / 4HANA Fiori apps related to MM
  • Familiarity with Ariba, Fieldglass, or SRM
  • Exposure to warehouse management (EWM / WM) and inventory valuation
  • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project delivery models
