Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly competent backend‑leaning full‑stack engineer who can confidently own API, service, and database layers—and work in a fast‑moving team environment where logic, clarity, and maintainability matter more than fancy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI or the Frappe Framework (ERPNext)
Write clean service‑layer logic and reusable business functions
Define and manage Pydantic / Schema models for request / response validation
Integrate and optimize both SQL (PostgreSQL / MariaDB) and NoSQL (Redis / MongoDB etc.)
Implement async and sync execution patterns properly (e.g., Celery workers, background tasks)
Contribute to modular, maintainable codebases with clear separation of concerns
Collaborate with frontend and product teams to translate requirements into workflows
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and feature planning

Must‑Have Skills

Strong experience with Python and FastAPI / Frappe or similar backend frameworks

Solid understanding of API design, dependency injection, and modular architecture

Hands‑on experience with Celery, RQ, or async task queues

Solid grasp of database design, migrations, ORM usage (SQLAlchemy / Frappe ORM)

Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database trade‑offs

Logical, systematic, and efficient problem‑solving mindset

Comfortable working collaboratively in an agile or fast‑paced team

Bonus (Good to Have)

Experience with microservices, message brokers (RabbitMQ / Redis), or Redis caching

Familiarity with ERPNext or similar enterprise data systems

Exposure to DevOps pipelines or containerized deployments (Docker, AWS, etc.)
