Job Responsibilities

Our payment company is seeking a Senior Channel & Partnerships Specialist to accelerate channel expansion, strengthen partnerships, and ensure merchant satisfaction through data-driven insights. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, optimizing partner / merchant performance, and enhancing merchant retention. We are looking for someone passionate about the payment industry and eager to contribute to our company's success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Merchant Success & Business Analysis

  • Build and implement partner / merchant health performance metrics, collaborate with data team to enhance internal dashboards for analysis.
  • Analyze merchant performance data, identify improvement areas, and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business teams and high-value merchants to understand needs, analyze pain points, and improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare business performance reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct competitive analysis reports for leadership, highlighting growth and optimization insights.
  • Develop and maintain payment feature roadmaps, using data to inform prioritization.

Channel Expansion & Product Optimization

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential channel partners aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create channel programs to boost engagement and sales.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  • Create supporting materials for sales efforts.
  • Business Partnership & Management

  • Nurture and maintain relationships with partners, conduct regular business reviews, and address issues.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure partner satisfaction through regular check-ins.
  • Coordinate with teams to meet project deadlines and resolve operational issues.
  • Educate partners on product and channel trends.
  • Manage issues resolution with clients / partners.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Fintech, Financial Services, or Payment Industry.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing technologies and merchant services.
  • Proactive, able to work independently and in teams, managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Languages : Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin.
