  • Responsibilities :

    Business Development & Sales Execution

    Identify, target, and secure new projects and clients within the defined Industries of Focus, and Major Industrial Zones.

    • Develop a deep understanding of the sales cycles and procurement processes for each vertical, especially government tenders and large private projects.
    • Build a robust sales pipeline by tracking upcoming projects, tenders, and expansion plans within the market.

      Account & Relationship Management

      Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, and end-users.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring seamless deliverables.
    • 3. Sales Operations & Reporting

    • Work closely with the HQ and manage the entre sales process from lead generation to solution design, negotiation, contract signing, and handover to the project team.
    • Provide monthly sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and competitor insights.

      Scope of Geographical & Industrial Coverage

      The role requires a strategic focus on Malaysia's key economic and industrial zones :

    • Central Region (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Selangor) :  The heart of Data Centre growth, government headquarters, and major tertiary hospitals.
    • Negeri Sembilan :  A key focus area for industrial and manufacturing sectors, including automotive and heavy industries.
    • Northern Region (Penang, Kulim) :  The core of semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.
    • Southern Region (Johor Bahru) :  Emerging Data Centre market and industrial manufacturing hub.
    • Nationwide Travel :  Required to cover government tenders, large private projects, and industrial clients across the country (estimated 50-60% travel).
    • Requirements :

      Education & Experience

    • Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field.
    • 3-5 years sales or business development experience in power solutions, electrical systems, or industrial equipment.
    • Established network and demonstrable experience selling into at least two of the following : Data Centres, Semiconductor Fabs, Pharmaceutical Plants, Large Hospital Projects, Government Projects or Major Industrial & Manufacturing
    • Knowledge of renewable energy solutions (BESS, solar, hybrid systems) will be a strong advantage.
    • Skills & Competencies

    • Strong technical-commercial understanding of gensets, UPS / DRUPS, or critical power solutions.
    • Business acumen in handling tenders, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
    • Established network and demonstrable experience selling into at least two of the following :  Data Centres, Semiconductor Fabs, Pharmaceutical Plants, Large Hospital Projects,or major Industrial & Manufacturing plants.
    • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage for Chinese developers / EPC (Equipment Procurement Construction) Contractors.
    • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently but aligned with regional HQ strategy.
    • Other Requirements

    • Willing to travel across Malaysia and regionally if required.
    • Valid driving license and ability to visit customer sites and project locations.
