Job description

Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and monitor Civil & Structural (C&S) works at project sites.
Ensure all works comply with engineering standards, specifications, drawings, and authority requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
Prepare technical reports, method statements, and site progress updates.
Assist Project Manager in project scheduling, cost control, and resource planning.
Monitor site construction, inspection, and testing to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Identify and resolve technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Attend project / site meetings and provide engineering input as required.

Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

Candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience in C&S works will have an advantage.

Strong knowledge of civil / structural design, construction drawings, and building codes.

Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and structural software.

Proficient in Mandarin (spoken & written) for communication with China-based management.

Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Willing to be based at project sites and travel when required.
