Job description

About the role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Production Leader / Supervisor to join our dynamic team at GAUMANN FILTRATION SDN. BHD. in our Senai Johor facility. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production department.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the production team to ensure efficient and timely completion of manufacturing goals
  • Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards
  • Provide ongoing training and support to production staff to enhance their skills and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and address any bottlenecks
  • Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and records
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar production supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think critically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting production plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Relevant qualifications in production management, engineering, or a related field would be an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (In order to discuss technical options and ensure that your point get across to Mandarin speaking colleagues)
