Job descriptionGuiding and mentoring team members on troubleshooting technical issues. Analyzing existing operations to identify risks and redundancy in technical aspects and propose innovated solutions for continuous improvement. Develop and enforce RPA development / coding guidelines, SOP procedures and reusable template. Overseeing and ensuring RPA change / development quality aligns AIA RPA standards, governance and compliances. Provide code reviews, technical coaching, and continuous feedback to enhance team capabilities. Promote the use of reusable components, templates, and frameworks to ensure high-quality and efficient automation delivery. Partner with business stakeholders, IT, security teams and vendors to align technical solutions with business needs. Support project / change planning, estimation and prioritization with technical insights. Assign resources to work on tickets based on Complexity Matrix. Assessment of change request requirements and effort from team member. Perform diagnosis / investigation / troubleshooting on complex or urgent incidents. The resolution time of incidents and change requests should meet agreed SLA based on their priority. Perform code changes / fixes or work closely with Vendors where necessary to resolve incident or change request to production. Responsible for communicating with business to understand, log, categorize and develop and maintain development documentation (Functional and Technical Specifications) and other relevant documentation as necessary to ensure development work and compliance to Change Governance and Information Security. Drive continuous learning within the team by sharing knowledge on UiPath / PAD and any emerging automation technologies. Maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation aligned with internal SDLC and compliance standards. Co-ordinate with platform team on regular patches, upgrades to the platform. Supporting Team Manager on work assignments as per required. Bachelor’s degree Information Technology / Systems related degree majoring in computing systems. 5++ years of hands-on experience on RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, PAD, etc. UiPath experience and knowledge to its fleet of products, is highly preferred. Experience in any of the programming languages like C / C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net. General concept of common application (eg SAP, Ariba, AS400) would be advantageous UiPath RPA Developer or Architect certifications preferred. Prior programming experience in Microsoft (for example, Visual Basic or Visual Studio (covering .Net) would be advantageous. Experience in Office365 applications and solutions (for example SharePoint Online, Power Apps) would be advantageous. Position Objective
- Guide and mentor RPA delivery team in designing and developing robust automation solutions.
- Lead solution architecture design reviews for enterprise level project / change request / bug fixes (if relevant) to ensure scalability, supportability and maintainability.
- Provide technical input for any new automation design and feasibility assessments.
- Review document(s) including PDD, SDD, Code review, knowledge transfer but not limited to that was developed from Project team to be adequate to follow up as a form of BAU support.
- Act as main technical escalation point for RPA delivery team by leading troubleshooting and resolution of incidents across supported automation environments.
- Champion and ensure the automation solutions developed adhered to AIA RPA standards, governance and compliances.
