Role Overview

As the HR Business Partner, you will proactively partner the business in the delivery of their strategic business plans by developing, advising and aligning people strategies and plans to organisational goals and helping to create and maintain a high performing workforce centred on TP ICAP values.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise, facilitate and advise business leaders in rolling out Business-HR Projects designed to optimise business outcomes through targeted HR interventions
  • Develop a strong understanding of businesses / customers and provide timely, insightful and comprehensive HR advice / solutions to pertinent inter / intra-business and regional issues
  • Partner Business Units in the implementation and governance of HR policies, practices and initiatives across APAC
  • Manage cross-borders as well as complex employee issues including but not limited to restructuring, redundancies, executive contract / performance management, managerial / employee coaching, compromise agreements, disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Support Group’s people data and analytics requirements in a timely and accurate manner
  • Actively spearhead and participate in global and regional initiatives and projects.
  • Support rolling out of regional HR policy and processes across APAC
  • Provide administrative support to the ICAP Malaysia business
  • Work with senior management to support plans for succession and identify values, behaviours and skills for future leaders.
  • Work with senior management in the provision of facilities related support.
  • Provide any HR operational support as and when required

Experience / Competences

Essential

  • 5 - 9 years of experience in a HR generalist role.
  • Experience in providing strategic, tactical and operational advice / support to mid to senior management
  • Relevant experience in HRIS (Workday) would be advantageous.
  • Familiar with local manpower laws / regulations to ensure statutory compliance / obligations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage middle to senior leaders as well as employees across different functions / business units / cultures
  • Good project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to converse in other Asian languages would be an advantage
