The position is based in our Penang Office in Malaysia.

Overview

Responsible for executing all design and collateral materials, and overseeing decorations, setups, signage, and advertising in line with Straits Quay Mall’s branding and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Create visual concept to communicate marketing information to the target audience through developing related collaterals, including digital multimedia platforms
Design and monitor all signages, directory and display artworks
Work closely with advertising & promotions team on the events or projects requirements in relation to Visual Merchandising to achieve desired outcome
Source and manage materials / suppliers to minimize expenditure and maximize outcome within the allocated budget
Liaise and work closely with external agencies, printing / contractors to ensure smooth deliveries and timely completion of project as per specifications
Constantly keep abreast with industry movement and latest trends

Requirements

Professional Diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field

A minimum of 1 year relevant working experience in graphic design and event management

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is an advantage

Possesses proven expertise in graphic design, demonstrating a strong ability to conceptualize, create and deliver visually compelling designs across various media platforms

Highly creative, innovative thinking and the capability to transform ideas into impactful visual solutions that align with brand identity and objectives

Pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills

Must be able to work independently and meet deadline
