Responsibilities
Manage local and international logistics operations, ensuring efficient import / export processes and timely deliveries.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs agencies to streamline shipment procedures.
Prepare, verify, and process shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading (BL), certificates of origin, customs declarations, and packing lists.
Work closely with the warehouse and Business Relations departments to align receiving, storage, dispatch, and sales order deliveries, including overseas shipments.
Oversee customs compliance, including tax exemption renewals and adherence to local and international trade regulations.
Monitor shipments, address delays, and resolve logistical issues promptly.
Optimize shipping routes, carriers, and cost structures to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers to secure competitive rates and services.
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and overall logistics performance.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Provide regular shipment updates to internal teams and customers.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics management software.
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for communication with China counterparts.
Knowledge of customs clearance, shipping documentation, and international trade regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
