We are seeking an experienced AS / 400 / IBM i RPG Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business applications on the IBM i platform.
About the Role
The AS / 400 RPG Developer will be working in KL on a Contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain RPG programs and applications on AS / 400 / IBM i systems
- Write and optimize SQL queries for DB2 / 400 database
- Create and maintain CL programs for job scheduling and system automation
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Debug and resolve application issues and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support application deployment and production releases
