Overview
An IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of IT infrastructure projects including network rollouts and office setup facilities. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining the quality and efficiency of the infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize IT infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in IT infrastructure project management, specifically in network rollouts and office setup facilities.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunications.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) are highly desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
