Job description

We are looking for Language Interpreters :

  • English - Burmese - English

Period of Employment : Permanent / Open to Malaysian Citizens or Thais only

Working Hours : 40 hours per week, based on schedule, including permanent night shifts

Work Station : Work from home

Job Requirements :

  • Excellent English and fluent in Burmese (reading & writing)
  • Clear speech in both languages with proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions
  • Malaysian Nationals and Thais / Permanent residents with sound knowledge of both languages
  • Ability to work from home for 9 hours anytime within the scheduled shift (shift between 8pm – 8am for Malaysians, 7pm - 7am for Thais, inclusive of a 1-hour break)
  • Own a home internet connection (stable, minimum 5MB download and 1MB upload speed)
  • Own a mobile phone (Android version 6 or above, or iOS 12 or above)
  • Willing to work permanent night shifts, including public holidays and weekends

    • Salary and Benefits :

  • Salary : RM 30 per hour (~RM 5200 per month, Thai Baht will be converted)
  • Benefits include EPF, SOCSO, 12 days annual leave, sick leave, hospitalization leave, medical coverage, and insurance
  • Entitled to 2 rotating days off per week
  • Public holidays and off days as per the served country (US)
  • Paid replacement leaves

    • Job Description :

  • Answer calls promptly and interpret in a friendly, professional manner
  • Render accurate concepts and meanings following established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
  • Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and polite expressions
  • Maintain professionalism throughout the call
  • Be punctual and available during scheduled work hours
  • Follow client instructions and protocol to meet client expectations, avoiding interaction with LEP without permission
  • Purely interpretation (English to native language and vice versa)
  • No escalation handling or resolution providing; contact @ for inquiries
