Accounts Manager

Job Description

• Manage and oversee full sets of accounts in line with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Supervise project-based accounting and reporting, including grants and donor-funded projects.
• Establish, implement, and monitor internal controls to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

Requirements

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Proficient in SQL Accounting Software and Microsoft 365. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in the hospitality industry or non-profit sector is an added advantage. Willingness to travel for project assignments when required. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally spanning both commercial and non-profit environments. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) preferred. Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and leading accounting processes.
