Overseas Software Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Overseas Software Project Manager with a strong software development background to lead international projects. The role bridges client requirements with technical implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze client requirements, and develop project plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor scope, handle change requests, and mitigate risks.
  • Lead technical discussions, manage requirements / defects, and resolve issues.
  • Conduct retrospectives to improve processes and delivery efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years in software development, 1+ year in project management.
  • Strong technical background with Java or .NET experience.
  • Familiar with major databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or Redis).
  • Proficient in Agile methods : sprint planning and progress tracking.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for international assignments.

  • PMP or Agile certification.
  • Experience managing international projects or cross-cultural teams.
