Principal Accountabilities
- Gather and compile information, including legal documents, regulatory requirements, and commercial terms to support comprehensive project risk assessments.
- Analyze identified risks ensuring accuracy and meaningful risk assessment reports.
- Prepare well‑organized documentation and materials for effective risk management reviews ensuring timely availability of key information for informed decision making.
Commercial Management
Support pre‑management documentation for new project agreements, MOU, LOI, Framework Agreement, SPA, SBC, etc., by providing input on key operational, commercial, and financial risks and concerns.Develop lists of clarifications and qualifications for new project agreements, MOU, LOI, Framework Agreement, SPA, SBC, etc.Support in developing baselines, standard term sheets and lessons learned; facilitate contract issue understanding through sharing sessions.Commercial Due Diligence and Valuation
Support the performance of legal and commercial due diligence on potential partners, acquisitions and projects to assess risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Review legal and commercial documentation for transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.Support risk management programs (e.g., ERM, RADM) and activities to ensure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.Support risk assessments, including analysis of data and documentation, to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate risk management actions.Support regular risk monitoring (e.g., Risk Scorecard, Project Status Report) to ensure mitigation actions are completed timely.Support risk reporting and communication strategies to keep senior leadership and other stakeholders informed of potential risks and risk management activities.Support financial risk assessment on existing stakeholders (e.g., charterers, partners) on a periodic basis to ensure financial risks are managed accordingly.Compliance Implementation & Monitoring
Support activities in embedding compliance related requirements in day‑to‑day operations e.g., DDRA & KYC.Monitor compliance activities for NED by assisting in proactive assessment of compliance risks in relevant legal areas.Monitor and track the implementation of compliance programs and initiatives, such as ISO audits and regulatory updates.Monitor and facilitate participation of NED staff in relevant compliance training and awareness sessions, and support reporting and communication on compliance status to the team.Job Requirements
Minimum a bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, economics or other relevant specialization.Minimum 6 – 8 years of relevant working experience in contract management, shipping operations or other relevant functions.Seniority level
