Job description

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher education level; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience in the construction or engineering field is preferred (but not mandatory).
  • Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Basic computer skills (familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive work attitude, and ability to adapt to a construction site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trilingual interpreter on-site to facilitate daily communication between foreign engineers and local staff (Mandarin-English-Bahasa Malaysia).
  • Translate project-related documents, including construction plans, safety notices, meeting minutes, technical reports, etc.
  • Assist the project manager in monitoring project progress, organizing meetings, preparing reports, and managing documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between contractors, suppliers, and relevant departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support general administrative and logistical tasks, such as accommodation arrangements, transportation coordination, and document organization.
