Role Description

The HR & Admin Manager will be

responsible for the overall operational management of administrative, human resources, financial, and daily office functions in our Malaysia office. This is a core position tasked with building the team / function from the ground up. The ideal candidate should be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, Chinese, and Malay, a deep understanding of Malaysian labor laws and business management, and a basic familiarity with the policies of other Southeast Asian neighboring countries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Business Administration, Human Resources or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in office management positions, with working experience in international companies or Chinese-funded enterprises preferred
  • Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations
  • Experience in handling financial matters
  • Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay
  • Skilled in using office software and familiar with the business of various Malaysian government agencies
  • Ability to work independently, strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent team spirit, able to build trust and communicate effectively with employees at all levels and external partners
  • Ability to anticipate needs and identify solutions before problems arise
  • Strong adaptability and resilience
