Mandarin (Simplified) Speakers – Test Voice Modes of AI Models

Project-based role evaluating AI chatbots in voice mode, conducted remotely.

Pay : USD $11 per hour

Project Requirements

Advanced / Expert fluency in Mandarin (Simplified) as spoken in mainland China (ISO : zh_CN)

Strong comprehension of English (read and write)

Expected to contribute around 15 hours per week on average, though actual hours may vary.

Job Description

We seek detail-oriented Mandarin speakers to evaluate voice-mode AI chatbots. Participants will start conversations with a predefined prompt, pursue the conversation goal, then rate the interaction on a laptop. All conversations must be conducted in Mandarin; evaluations must be written in English.

Responsibilities

Speak to AI using the voice mode on the mobile app, following the predefined starting prompt and conversation goal.

Rate the interaction on a laptop.

Follow the provided instructions to achieve task goals.

Perform voice-mode interactions and evaluations with accuracy, completeness, and quality focus.

Engagement Requirements

All participants must have or be willing to create an Upwork account.

Adhere to confidentiality terms outlined in the Upwork User Agreement.

Work must be performed on participant’s own devices.

Must use a smartphone to install free chatbot apps.

Must use a laptop for rating.
