Boilerman Grade 1

Job Responsibilities

Operate, optimize and record condition control of boiler, steam turbine and water treatment system.

Report any abnormality on process and do troubleshooting.

Control demineralization water quality and steam quality as required by process.

Daily water analysis for process demineralized water, boiler water and steam condensate.

Handle chemicals for water treatment, analyse water quality and steam.

Follow all safety requirements and SOP for boiler operation, steam turbines, chemical handling and understand regulations regarding boiler operation under Factories & Machineries Act.

Complete daily data sheet and machine abnormal checklist.

Involve in general maintenance of compressors : change parts and clean compressor filter for all related machines such as steam boiler, steam turbine, compressor, cooling tower and demineralization plant.

Involve in daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance including cleaning boiler area, steam turbine area and demineralization plant area.

Other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by Team Lead and Steam Engineer.

Education

Minimum Diploma / Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related study on machine process.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience.

Expertise & Certificate

Boilerman Grade 1 by DOSH is required.
