Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of all inventory items including finished goods, raw materials, spare parts, consumables and work‑in‑progress items.
Update inventory system and maintain proper documentation.
Ensure proper storage, labeling and identification of all inventory items.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
Manage goods return and rejected material.
Report any slow‑moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory.
Receive incoming materials, equipment and supplies from suppliers / vendors.
Verify deliveries against documents in quantity, description and condition.
Report any discrepancies, damages or shortages immediately.
Monitor material preparation and usage for production.
Monitor daily tasks assigned to warehouse workers.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store / warehouse area.
Adhere to all relevant health, safety and quality standards.
Support other departments with inventory‑related queries.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
