Established in 2013, the organization is dedicated to “Advancing Science and Technology for Global Happiness.” It specializes in science education for younger generations, entrepreneurship support through initiatives like the TECH PLANTER ecosystem, human resource support for talent development, and research support through grants such as the LNest Grant. Leave a Nest Malaysia collaborates closely with corporates, researchers, and entrepreneurs to provide impactful solutions and customized programs by leveraging a vast network of partners.

Role Description

The Account Admin role is a full-time on-site position located in Cyberjaya. The primary responsibilities include overseeing financial and accounting tasks such as account reconciliation, managing customer accounts, and supporting day‑to‑day account administration. The role involves fostering strong relationships with clients while ensuring that all account and finance processes are accurate and timely. This individual will also handle inquiries, maintain records, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Scope

  • Support in establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting tasks as operational guidelines.
  • Support in managing multiple startup companies and their business operations, handling a moderate workload effectively.
  • Support in overseeing the full spectrum of finance functions across all companies, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Support in ensuring compliance with local laws, applicable accounting standards.
  • Support in handling statutory audits, taxation matters, and tax field audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support in monitoring changes in relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support in ensuring timely applications and renewals, including tax estimate filings and SST payments.
  • Support in issuing accurate and timely monthly accounts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree Holders
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Finance and Accounting processes
  • Experience in Account Reconciliation and Account Management
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills to support client engagement
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in an on‑site environment and collaborate within a team
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
