Job description

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel's overall business strategies.
  • Translate organizational goals into sales and marketing objectives that maximize revenue, yield, and market share.

Monitor performance regularly, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies proactively.

Develop and implement annual sales goals aligned with overall hotel financial objectives.

  • Approve space allocation for groups and events, ensuring alignment with yield management strategies.
  • Qualify business leads for profitability and negotiate contracts with key clients.
  • Coordinate sales efforts across rooms, catering, F&B outlets, and ancillary revenue streams.

    Design and execute marketing, advertising, and PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility.

  • Implement local market strategies and leverage corporate / owner group marketing support.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications comply with brand standards.
  • Develop and oversee promotions, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Drive marketing communications, including digital channels and media relations, ensuring brand visibility.

    Develop the annual Sales & Marketing budget in collaboration with the Executive Team and Financial Controller.

  • Monitor actual vs. budgeted revenues and expenses; take corrective action as needed.
  • Prepare and submit accurate month-end reports on sales performance and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client information through PMS / CRM systems.
  • Ensure brand integrity in all guest and client communications.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Foster teamwork, employee engagement, and alignment with the hotel's service culture.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties when as assigned

  • Skilled in negotiating contracts that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.

    Experienced in budget preparation, monitoring, and financial accountability.

  • Ability to prepare accurate revenue forecasts by analyzing booking pace, history, and promotions.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and act on market opportunities and challenges.

    Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.
