Responsibilities

  • Execute MPS by converting planned MRP orders to purchase orders for contract manufacturers (CM), component suppliers or production orders to internal manufacturing resources.
  • Review & confirm new orders and bookings daily.
  • Manage supplier delivery schedules to ensure they meet production & backlog requirements. May include supplier visits.
  • Generate and maintain accurate Customer OTD (on time delivery).
  • Manage orders backlog to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
  • Supply chain partner to programs teams in the delivery of complex programs orders.
  • Maintain master data – planning.

  • Experience with planning and procurement in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Thorough working knowledge of MRP (inputs, logic and outputs) within SAP ERP system.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Good customer service / phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
  • Is flexible and able to react to changes as needed.
  • Take initiative and seek additional training or direction as needed.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Procurement for finished goods products
  • Semiconductor background strongly preferred
  • Professional experience with SAP
  • Deep understanding of Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • APICS certification strongly preferred
