Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and KPI achievement—particularly in a shared-services or cross-functional environment.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and inventory levels, driving continuous improvement to reduce costs, enhance quality, and mitigate supply risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally—especially with finance, operations, expansion and planning—to align procurement with broader business objectives.
- Generate regular reports and analyses on procurement performance, cost savings, and operational trends for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and industry regulations throughout all procurement activities.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement procurement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
