Assistant District Manager
The Assistant District Manager is responsible for directing and educating the Outlet Managers within their specified district in daily operations. They will maintain positive company morale and cultivate an efficient operation team of the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The ADM will provide guidance to Outlet Manager in planning of all outlet operations with the goal of providing customers with excellent quality products and superior customer service to generate sales and a positive environment within the outlet.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Service
- Monitoring and managing sales growth with their district, assisting the Outlet Managers on achieving their sales plans.
- Monitoring controllable store expenses for profitability.
- Responding pro-actively to prevent and resolve customer service situations.
- Conducting and evaluating customer surveys.
- Working with Operations Managers to generate sales volume growth.
Store Operations
Analyzing business results and market situations.Benchmarking outlets to create a competitive environment.Auditing and assessing outlet performance while enforcing health and safety rules.Engaging in daily loss and waste prevention and innovations.Ensuring all operational and personnel paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on time.Ensuring adequate manpower for existing and future stores.Interviewing, recruiting and hiring qualified candidates.Maintaining adequate inventory, controlling overall outlets expenses as a whole and maintaining labor cost.Monitoring proper usage of equipment.Setting monthly sales forecasts and producing monthly business reports.Responsible for outlet management supervision including but not limited to directing of management team, corrective counseling and issuing management evaluations.Assisting in overall coordination of catering, events and functions and any workstation as and when required.Employee Development
Adhering to all counseling and discipline procedures.Providing assistance in developing potential Outlet Manager, Assistant Managers and Management Trainees through appropriate delegation and development plans.Managing the development and performance of all store employees.Orientating and overseeing the training of new recruits to the outlets.Providing recommendations for promotions.Product Knowledge
Continuing to educate all managers on all products and services.Maintaining the highest quality, consistent product standards.Overseeing drink making and facilitating monthly re-certification process.Store Presentation
Ensuring that the store is clean & well merchandised.Enforcing guidelines on music.Any other duties as and when assigned to you by your immediate superiorQualifications
Diploma / Degree in any field.Minimum 5 years’ experience at the same level preferably in the F&B industry.Must be willing to travel.Familiar and good at P&L.Good analytical skills.A team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills.Articulate and able to communicate effectively across all functions and levels.Able to adapt to organizational changes and able to work under pressure.Seniority Level
