Metal Worker (Bending & Grooving)

Requirements

• Secondary School / SPM / Certificate / Diploma.
• More than 1 year's experience in metalworking.
• Preference for experience in the furniture industry.

Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation :

Operate bending, grooving, and other metalworking machines

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to ensure efficient operation.

2. Metal Processing :

Cut, bend, and groove metal sheets, tubes, and profiles as per the design and production specifications.

Follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to fabricate metal components.

3. Quality Control :

Inspect metal parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.

Identify defects in material or finished products and report them to the team leader.

4. Safety and Compliance :

Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection.

Adhere to factory safety standards, including machine operation safety and proper handling of materials.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to avoid accidents and improve workflow efficiency.

5. Any task required by superior or company management.
